FOCCUS Inc. USA seeks to guide engaged couples through interpersonal communication to reveal who they are in holy, happy, and healthy relationships. FOCCUS Inc. USA strives to foster communion and conversions through conversations. Moreover, FOCCUS (Foster, Open, Couple, Communication, Understanding and Study) enables couples to identify areas of agreement, disagreement and uncertainty.

FOCCUS is a follow up marriage preparation tool for couples who have completed the One in Christ Marriage Seminar. Couples must complete the marriage seminar first before taking the FOCCUS inventory.   FOCCUS will help identify areas of disagreement and uncertainty that still need to be discussed. 

Once you make your payment and fill out the necessary information, Fr. Thomas Aschenbrener will set up your personal inventory.  You will each receive your own password to retrieve the inventory. It should be taken individually and within two weeks of signing up. Once you complete it, you will receive an email from a FOCCUS Facilitating Couple, who will meet with you to go over the results.

If you haven’t done so already, please sign up for the One in Christ Home Study Marriage Seminar.  The seminar is designed to foster open communication and dialogue through learning, discussion and prayer. You will come to discover on a deeper level an appreciation for and knowledge of the Sacrament of Matrimony. Moreover, the marriage seminar will give you the theological and practical tools for married life, so that you will have a happy, healthy, holy and lasting marriage.
